This brooch is inspired by the stunning Tara Brooch. Found in Bettystone, County Meath, Ireland, in 1850, the original silver artefact dates to between 650 and 750 AD. Belonging to a powerful noble, possibly to royalty, it is considered to be the pinnacle of early medieval Irish craftsmanship.
