Robert the Bruce on Warhorse Figurine

Robert the Bruce, was a powerful Scottish nobleman, who took up the legacy of William Wallace in the Wars of Independence, defeated the English at Bannockburn in 1314 and became King of Scots. Under Robert was written the Declaration of Arbroath, rooting Scottish sovereignty within the Scottish Nation, rather than by divine right. Here Robert is depicted in the moments before Bannockburn upon his warhorse, inspired by the iconic statue which can be seen at the battlefield. There is also a copy of this statue in Alberta Canada.

Stands 14cm tall on a base 13cm by 7cm. Cast from high quality 100% lead-free pewter.

Each Bruce figurine is made to order and can take up to ten working days to cast and assemble, although we'll usually have them finished much sooner. Entirely cast and finished by our team of dedicated craftsmen in our workshop in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland.

This figurine is fragile, so we need to use quite a lot of packing. For the UK this doesn't impact on the shipping cost, but it will for overseas customers.
