Measuring advice:
Chest: measure around the chest at under-arm height, while wearing a shirt or t-shirt, with your arms by your side.
Waist: measure around the waist at naval height, regardless of whether these are to go with a kilt or trousers (we need to know the widest part to help shape the waistcoat).
Back length: wearing a shirt, measure from the bottom of the collar to where you want the waistcoat to sit. An inch below the belt line is ideal. This is a tricky measurement to take, so give us your height as well so we can check it.
Let us know if you need a longer length, to match conventional trousers, rather than high-waisted kilts or trews. It is recommended, where possible, to take your waist measurement over your kilt, at the high point where it sits. However, if this is not possible we can factor this in. If it's to be worn with conventional trousers, take your waist measurement at the usual height.
