There were two types of Kilmarnock Bonnet, one was a tall hat, like a woollen top hat with out the brim. The second, here, was a bit like the Balmoral, but with a stiffened brim and without the tails. All Scottish bonnets ultimately derived from the classic 'Blue Bonnet' of previous centuries, with variants taking different evolutionary courses.

These are a limited edition run, with dicing and red toorie (bobble). Cap badges, which are traditionally worn on the left hand side, can be purchased separately.

These bonnets have a classic round crown, so some users sometimes pad the insides to their linking.

Measurements should be taken round the head where the bottom of the hat will sit.
