Here we have a ‘Justacorps’ style jacket, with a short cut
for wearing with a Great Kilt feileadh mor, or even with a Small Kilt feileadh
beag. This is a cut for the mid to later eighteenth century, with a
non-closable jacket and turn back cuffs. We have devised this pattern to look the part, while also being comfortable for the modern wearer.
This jacket can be made in a range of tweeds, or plain-cloth
barathea, all 100% pure wool and lined in cotton. The back has large vents to better suit wearing with a feileadh
mor.
The waistcoat is a buff-coloured cotton, with imitation horn buttons. Let us know in the text box if you’d rather it matches the
jacket, or you'd like different buttons.
Completely made in our Glasgow workshop. These jackets are
made to measure and made to order. The lead time on completion is indicated in the drop-down menu.
