Kilt Pin - Caledonia Thistle

Premium Antique Silver plated kilt pin, a traditional style kilt pin, part of our new Caledonia Thistle range, meant to evoke a Victorian look.   

Ideal for matching with our large and small Caledonia Plaid Brooches, as well as the thistle-knotwork sgian dubhs.

The hardy, prickly and beautiful thistle has long been seen as the perfect metaphor for Scotland, both landscape and people, at least since the days of James III. Since then it has never gone out of popularity as a national emblem. 

Kilt pins are worn on the front apron of a kilt to prevent it lifting, but also as a piece of decoration. Completely cast and finished at our workshop in Glasgow, Scotland, by our highly trained craftsmen.
