Our plain pewter kilt belt buckles are crafted with care and typically take just a couple of days to produce. If you opt for the plated silver finish, please allow around three weeks for completion, as these are more intricate and require additional steps in the finishing process.

This design, introduced in 2025, is inspired by the elegance of Victorian-era accessories and features an elaborate thistle motif. It pairs beautifully with our Caledonia Thistle plaid brooches and kilt pins, creating a cohesive and distinguished Highland dress ensemble.

Each buckle is made from the finest quality solid pewter—100% lead-free for safety and durability. Designed to accommodate a standard 2 1/4" traditional kilt belt (available separately), this buckle is both functional and stylish.

The intricate knotwork adorning the design draws from the culturally rich traditions of early medieval Celtic Britain. These interwoven patterns symbolise eternity, fate, and the unbreakable ties that bind. Every piece is hand-cast and hand-finished by our skilled craftsmen in our Glasgow workshop, ensuring the highest standard of workmanship.
