Finest quality traditional Lapel or Tie Pin made in solid 100% lead free Pewter.
This lapel pin was created especially for those connected with the Kirk of Scotland. At its centre is the Burning Bush, the symbol drawn from the Book of Exodus in which Moses encounters the miraculous bush aflame yet untouched by the fire. Encircling the emblem is the Latin motto NEC TAMEN CONSUMEBATUR—“Yet it was not consumed”—a phrase that has come to represent steadfast faith and divine protection.
Although not an official coat of arms, the Burning Bush and its accompanying motto have long been recognised as the unofficial emblem of the Church of Scotland, appearing in churches, publications, and ecclesiastical insignia throughout the country. This pin offers a discreet and meaningful way to wear that heritage, whether for formal clerical attire, church events, or as a thoughtful gift for anyone with strong ties to the Kirk.
Hand-cast and finished in our Glasgow workshop, by our highly trained craftsmen.
Crest 25mm wide and 35mm long, 60mm long with pin.
