Introducing our Pictish Harpist clutch pin – a unique piece inspired by the rich artistry of early medieval Scotland. This elegant accessory draws its design from the Lethendy Pictish Cross Slab, an extraordinary relic dating back to the 9th or 10th century. The original stone, steeped in history, once served as a lintel in the 16th-century Lethendy Tower, adding layers of intrigue and heritage to the piece.

The clutch pin features a stylishly bearded gentleman playing the harp, echoing the timeless cultural expression of the ancient Picts. His serene yet noble expression captures the musical spirit of the age. He’s not performing solo, though—keep an eye out for his companion, the Pictish Pipes, who completes the ensemble in our historical collection.

Each pin is entirely designed, cast, and hand-finished in our Glasgow workshops by our team of highly skilled craftsmen. Crafted with care and precision, this piece celebrates Scottish heritage while making a bold fashion statement. It’s perfect for those who appreciate history, music, and artisanal design. Whether as a gift or a personal keepsake, the Pictish Harpist clutch pin is a conversation piece that brings the echoes of the past into the present.

Made in lead-free pewter, with a brass pin and butterfly clip on the reverse.

Size is 37mm by 22mm.
