Here we have a top-stitch 4-yard, lightweight polyviscose Royal Stewart Modern Tartan kilt.

Waist size is set to 27" (note that this is not the same as the trouser waist, but taken firmly at belly button height). Length is 22".

Each strap will have a range of half an inch smaller to one-and-a-half inches larger: so the 34 will cover waist sizes 26.5" to 29".
