Paxton Cape

The perfect simple over-cape for your Highlandwear for those Autumn or chilly Winter days. There are no arms to this cape, it drapes over the shoulders and is held in place by a chainlink. 

Our new Paxton Cape, named in honour of the Berwickshire village that sits, appropriately enough, on the River Tweed. 

Made in a weather-resistant Charcoal tweed, which is weather resistant and a good thick material. The face of this cloth combines crisp cheviot wools, highly twisted with merino worsted, to create a resilient coating with high performance properties. The addition of an extra weft woven onto the back of the cloth provides added warmth and insulation against any inclement weather.

Features a sturdy collar, satin lining and chainlink close. Contains two internal pockets. 

Entirely made in our Glasgow workshops, right in the heart of Scotland. 

Sizing note: take your chest size over a shirt: we'll work out the over-measures to account for your jacket.

We will base the length on your height, although feel free to use the instruction box if you had a specific length in mind. Ideally the cape should cover your kilt.
