Measuring advice:
- Chest/Bust: take a measurement around the fullest part of the bust.
- Waist: measure around waist at navel height.
- Waistcoat Length: measure from the nape/collar of the neck to the seat/base of the spine, or over the belt-line of the skirt/trousers you will be wearing it with. If you have a well-fitting waistcoat already, you can use the back measurement from that as a guide.
Additional helpful measurements (type these in the text box if you know them: under bust: take a measurement around the body directly under the bust, hips: a measurement round the widest part of the hips and height. These three measurements help us shape the waistcoat, but don't worry if you don't know them.
Tartan Finder Disclaimer:
As each of the mills has supplied their own images, or they have been taken from fabric samples, please note that the setts are not to scale when comparing tartans of different mills. Also, as screen resolutions vary, colours may differ slightly from those seen here. If unsure, we’d encourage you to purchase a swatch of the fabric before buying.
