Plaid Brooch Scottish Clan Crest Saltire

A larger alternative to our stone-set clan-crested plaid brooch, this new brooch features Celtic waves set around a simple saltire. 

This is a large ‘boss’ style brooch, with domed top with a clan crest of your choice mounted on top. This is meant to be a real statement piece to make your outfit really stand out.

Take your pick from the widest selection of Clan Crests available, with over 240 Highland, Lowland and Borders names. Our crests are founded on the third edition of the Scottish Clan and Family Encyclopaedia, the authoritative text on Scottish crests, which is endorsed by the Lord Lyon King of Arms.

Plaid brooches attach to the shoulder plaid to act as weights to keep them in place (they should not be pinned to the jacket as well, in case the plaid snags on anything). This brooch has a large brass pin on the back, suitable for any fastening requirement.

Completely designed, mastered, cast and finished in house at our workshop in Glasgow, Scotland. The only bit we didn’t make is the brass pin. Cast from high quality 100% lead free pewter.
